Becoming a pilot has always been a dream of mine, just like it is for many others. I’ve always looked up in awe whenever I hear something flying. After 12 years as a helicopter mechanic, I thought taking that step was out of reach: too expensive, too complicated, and I had no flying experience. Then, an opportunity arose, almost out of the blue. Helicraft gave me the chance to learn, train, and push myself. This project, as sudden as it was unexpected, has become one of the most wonderful adventures of my life. Today, I realize that sometimes, all it takes is the courage to dare to turn a dream into reality.
Without a doubt, my first solo—a dream that came true at age 30!
