Frequently asked questions

Our Magog base offers two sightseeing flights. Our Massawipi Lake helicopter tour starts at $169 per person, and the Lake Memphremagog tour starts at $229 per person.
A minimum of two people per reservation is required.
These tours are available daily from June 1 to August 31, and then every weekend through October 31.

For organizational reasons, our helicopters take off as soon as two seats have been purchased.
You can therefore fly alone if you agree to pay this minimum amount.

Hélicraft offers 3-passenger helicopters.
For larger groups, our helicopters will make multiple trips to minimize wait times.

Customers will receive a full refund or credit if cancellation notice is given more than 48 hours before takeoff.
Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in the event of cancellation by the operator due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
A $100 fee will be charged if the customer cancels between 24 and 48 hours before takeoff.
No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of takeoff.
For customers who booked their flight through one of our distributors, the distributor’s cancellation or refund policy applies.

Please call us to cancel or to inquire about a cancellation. Customers who do not show up will be charged the full amount.

There is no minimum or maximum age requirement for boarding our helicopters.
Children under 24 months may fly for free when seated on an adult’s lap.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Flights are limited to a weight of 250 lbs per person (113 kg) and/or 650 lbs for a group of three people (295 kg).

Our sightseeing flights from Magog are available depending on the season.

We invite you to check our flight schedule to select the flight and departure time that works best for you.

Flights take place under weather conditions that ensure a smooth and comfortable ride.
Although there are no legal restrictions, we do not recommend flying for people with heart conditions or women who are more than 25 weeks pregnant.

You won’t feel dizzy or afraid of heights during a helicopter flight.
This sensation can occur when you’re tethered to the ground (on an apartment balcony, for example), but it doesn’t apply to everything that flies.
And, between you and us: some of our pilots are afraid of heights, but they’re happiest when they’re in the air at the controls of their helicopters!

Our aircraft can fly up to 9,000 feet (2,750 m) above ground level.
For a flight over Montreal, we will remain between 1,500 and 2,000 feet (460 and 610 m).

Hélicraft guarantees optimal conditions for your flight to ensure you have the best possible experience.
If weather conditions threaten to disrupt your flight, you will be notified the day before, and your flight will be rescheduled or fully refunded.
The pilot, and the pilot alone, will determine whether weather conditions are favorable or not.
Thunderstorms, snowfall, icing, or strong winds could be the reasons.
