Like many others, it was a childhood dream! But how did I finally take the plunge? In France, I was a firefighter, and in 2023, during the massive wildfires in Canada, I was lucky enough to be selected to fight those fires and help our colleagues in Quebec! On the ground, the main mode of transportation was the helicopter, due to these vast boreal regions. Pilots everywhere, stars in their eyes, and there I was, determined to get my commercial pilot’s license. A little over a year later, I was at the controls, ready for a new adventure.
